The JIB has been pleased to welcome Josh Donoghoe from Electrogroup, Brisbane, to the UK. Josh will be spending six weeks in the UK working with T Clarke plc and J Brand Ltd across various sites in and around London.
Josh has met with industry representatives from the JIB, ECA, Unite the Union, JTL and the Electrical Industries Charity who will run through a number of topics from technical aspects, to training, funding models, industrial relations and mental health in the industry.
Following Josh’s return to Brisbane he will be working with Electrogroup to collate his findings and any suggestions about improvements to help the organisations work together in the spirit of collaboration. This is similar to the report from George Stickings and Josh Horton, the UK apprentices who travelled out to Brisbane last year.
