The latest instalment in the ‘Apprentices Are Amazing’ film series introduces Amelia, a mechanical and electrical engineer and FMEA Apprentice of the Year 2020.
The inspirational film follows Amelia in her day-to-day role offering insight into her journey so far, why she chose an apprenticeship, how she found her apprenticeship, and what her advice to those considering their next step would be.
“I’m a practical learner,” says Amelia, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners. “We are taught theoretical principles in a classroom environment then we come in the next day to our workplace and we are shown the practical side of that theoretical knowledge. It makes everything click. It’s so much easier to understand a concept when you have it in your hands.
“I’m very lucky that I love my job… I’m 20 years old and I’ve found a career that I want to do for the rest of my life.”
